The Club's 3rd XV play in the KZNRU's 4th Division "Fowden Bowl" against Clubs' such as Queensburgh, Varsity College 4th XV, Lamontville, Scottburgh, Pinetown & 2ndXV.

 

The side is made up primarily of over 30 year olds, who choose to play at the Club, as a result of them being unable to make the rigorous training schedule of twice a week, practices and normally come together on a Thursday evening, from 18h00-19h30, to practice their lineout/scrummaging & Backline moves.

 

The Club's 3rd XV, boasts the eldest active & competitive Club player within the KZNRU, and probably SARU Club Rugby, at the age of 65.

Once the Fourth Division league season finishes, many of the 3rd XV Players move onto help out and play for the 2nd XV.

 

Such is the nature of Club Rugby some players never lose the desire to play the game no matter how old they are and simply because it often keeps them younger!
