Land Rover Durban/Envirosan -Hillcrest Villagers Rugby Club were at Home to Westville Old Boys & Varsity College Old Boys this week, in the 1st & 4th Division KZNRU encounters.

Envirosan Hillcrest Villagers 3rd XV had a "massive" 24-14 win against the current 4th Division Log leaders, Varsity College OB 3rds, with tremendously physical clash, that showed that Club rugby is alive & well, and still very hard & competitive in the "lower divisions". Villagers 2nd XV took on a highly disciplined, and well drilled Westville OB 2nd XV, in which the visiting side could not do much wrong, breaking the long standing Villagers' 2nd's winning streak, with a final score of 24-5. A lone try came from Tyrone Bakker. Men of the Match went to Ruan Taljaard & Larry Oliver.

In the main match of the evening, the Hillcrest 1st XV came up against a high spirited and strong WOB outfit , who showed that they had come to challenge the 1st Division "second-spot" log leaders'.
