Hillcrest Villager’s Rugby club has been a part of the Hillcrest Upper highway community since 1970. Every year we are blown away by the support that our local community has for our club and each year, with your support, we are able to grow.
We have an Old School Villagers XV that runs independently to us but is still joint to our club. This team was formed on the basis of giving back to rugby and our local community, for all it has given them over the years!
The Old School Villagers XV and Hillcrest Villager’s Rugby Club have decided to launch a campaign that helps raise money for a great cause. They have selected the Help Jaxon fund raising initiative as this year’s beneficiary.
We have attached Jaxon’s story below. If you want to find out more about Jaxon please go to his Facebook page. They need all the support they can get.
We are going to be running a rugby day with the Old School Villagers XV playing our 3rd XV. We have joined forces with Westville Old Boys and we have moved our 1st & 2nd XV derby day games to the 8th of July to be hosted at Kearsney College.
We have some fantastic fund-raising ideas and we look forward to working with the Bartman family to help make a difference in this little man’s life!
All proceeds raised during this campaign will be paid over to the Bartman family.
